Project description:
The Arctic is the region where the impacts of global warming are most pronounced, and the rapid changes unfolding in its natural environment are significantly affecting ecosystems and climates worldwide, including the mid-latitudes.
The ArCS III project seeks to advance cross-disciplinary research that tackles societal challenges surrounding Arctic sustainability, while also closing observational gaps to deepen our understanding of the Arctic environment and, in turn, enhance the reliability of forecasts derived from that knowledge.
