Is it connected to the Onsite ''Identification'' and Verification System in any way other than having a similar name and the same initialism? The Alabama system is used for a different purpose, involving different classes of users and different data. It is a web service rather than a device, and had a different developer, the Alabama Department of Revenue and Center for Advanced Public Safety.
