For Agnieszka Machówna. For request #1, I don't know page numbers because Google Books is not cooperating, so I'm interested in any mentions of Machówna in the book.

I am working on an article about computer scientist and game designer Anne Bergeron. I'd like a copy of the above article, which appeared in 1984 in a French computing magazine named Micro Mag, Micro-Mag, Micro Magazine, or Micro-Magazine. There were at least a couple different magazines with those names, including one with ISSN 2112-7093 and one with ISSN 0760-5773; I'm not sure which ISSN, if either, is the right one. This Micro Mag archived by The Internet Archive can't be the one I need because its first issue was published in 1989. Probably this Micro Magazine shown on Premiers numéros is the right publication, since its first issue has a cover date of September 1983. The contents page indicates that the publisher was François Potier (now a novelist, apparently) and the distributor was Sitelle conseil of 32 rue Washington, 75008 Paris. I suspect that the article's author, Paul Cauchon, is the Canadian journalist who recently retired from Le Devoir.
I've already tried document requests at one Canadian and one French university but neither of them were able to find the article, either locally or in their wider library networks. I also can't find any scans of any issues of the magazine online (except, as noted above, for a few pages from the first issue on Premiers numéros). Can anyone here get me a copy of the article through their library? Or perhaps someone can send me an e-mail address for François Potier or Paul Cauchon, who might also have copies? (Both of them have LinkedIn accounts but I can't send them messages without subscribing to their premium service.) —Psychonaut (talk) 20:59, 18 August 2025 (UTC)
:@Psychonaut: doing Pretty sure this is a Quebec magazine, not one from France (both speak French). 0825-9100 is listed in the Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec as "Micro mag", with a timeline of , which matches up with the December 1984 dating of Vol. 1 No. 2 better than if it started from September 1983. Also makes sense since Paul Cauchon is from Quebec, and the one citation I found to it is from a Canadian journal on Quebec video games. Requested an ILL to either BAnQ or Library and Archives Canada, we'll see how it goes. ::ARandomName123: I suppose you are right. I (probably wrongly) assumed that the magazine was French because the only two ISSNs I found associated with its title listed the country as France. I see now that the one you found, 0825-9100, is also in the ISSN Portal, so I have no idea why I didn't notice it there before. Thanks for checking if you can get a copy. —Psychonaut (talk) 01:32, 19 August 2025 (UTC)
