Some Wikipedians have formed a project to better organize information in articles related to Food and drink. This page and its subpages contain their suggestions; it is hoped that this project will help to focus the efforts of other Wikipedians. Scope
This WikiProject aims provide a centralized ___location for the discussion of standards for work on food and drink articles in wikipedia. This covers but is not limited to beers, wines, restaurants, chefs, recipes, etc.
YMacrakis (talk·contribs) -- Especially interested in food history, in particular trying to disentangle what actually happened from the romantic and/or nationalistic re-writings of history.
YElonka (talk·contribs) - working on nutritional supplements and infobox templates
YThe Banner (talk·contribs) - Lousy cook but interested in Michelin starred restaurants and chefs. Still working on the Michelin starred restaurants, in real life slowly moving into food production with related growth of knowledge.
YEricEnfermero (talk·contribs) - I'll eat anything that doesn't eat me first. (Haven't been active with food articles recently, but still interested in helping.)
YMiyagawa (talk·contribs) - Considering I've done two Good Articles and a whole bunch of DYKs for this project, it's probably about time I joined it. :) {Yep, still here!
YKiyoweap (talk·contribs) - Japanese cuisine; did articles on a few ingredients, looked up some history of cuisines, added to lists, created some categories.
YMercurywoodrose (talk·contribs) - chocolate, cheese, organic/slow food topics, and wikignome work on category structure, afd's, tagging articles for the project, etc
YChesPal (talk·contribs) - I am interested in improving any category related to food which interests me. I have a collection of over 400 cookbooks. Some of the categories are: Chinese, Indian, Japanese, Hungarian, Italian, Mexican, Thai, Jewish/Kosher, Traditional (Classic) American, Southern, Cajun, Middle Eastern, Vegetarian (including international recipes). I consider myself to be fairly proficient in many of these cuisines. I look forward to seeing where this project may be able to use my expertise.

Support No matter what you think about the Frenchies, it's without any doubt the most internationally renowned and influential cuisines in the world since the 17th century. The only close rival would be Chinese cuisine. PeterIsotalo11:35, 28 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
