Samos (thema)
thema (provincia) dell'Impero bizantino
Il Thema di Samos (in greco θέμα Σάμου?, thema Samou) è stata una provincia civile-militare bizantina, ubicata nel mar Egeo orientale, istituita verso la fine del IX secolo. In quanto uno dei tre themata navali (Greco: θέματα ναυτικᾶ) dell'Impero bizantino, serviva principalmente a fornire navi e truppe alla marina bizantina.
