Andrew Callaly (born May 19, 1994) is an Irish Musician born in Dublin, Ireland.
Callaly is best known as the lead guitarist of the hard rock band Stone Trigger.[1] joining in 2015 under the name Andii Andrews. As a member of Stone Trigger, Callaly performed on one full length album GHOST[2] and one EP Black Venom.[3]
Early Life
editCallaly was born in Swords, Co. Dublin. He attended St. Fintan's High School in Sutton. As a youth Callaly was a talented footballer playing as a goalkeeper. As a school boy Callaly played for noted club Home Farm F.C. In 2012 Callaly signed with League of Ireland club Drogheda United[4][5][6]. Callaly last played for Leinster Senior League club Cherry Orchard[7].[8]
Career
editIn 2015 Callaly joined Irish hard rock band Stone Trigger as lead guitarist using the stage name Andii Andrews. Shortly after joining the band they went on tour with Gunzo which featured L.A. Guns founder Tracii Guns and former Ozzy Osbourne bass player Rudy Sarzo. The tour consisted of ten dates across the United Kingdom.
Following this tour Stone Trigger entered the studio to record debut album GHOST which was released in March, 2017. Coinciding with the release of GHOST the band joined the recently reunited L.A. Guns featuring Tracii Guns and Phil Lewis on a UK tour. This also featured an appearance at Hard Rock Hell AOR Festival.
After a string of headline dates the band took part in two more tours with L.A Guns across Europe and performed at the Vibe For Philo[9] in 2018. An event celebrating Thin Lizzy frontman Phil Lynott.
In 2019, Callaly joined L.A. Guns on tour in the United States on The Devil You Know Tour. In 2022 Callaly joined L.A. Guns on the Sonic Slam Tour[10] which was headlined by Cinderella frontman, Tom Keifer.
In 2022, Callaly joined Finnish rock band The Rasmus as Tour Manager on The Live and Never Die Tour which featured shows in Europe, UK and Mexico. In 2024, Callaly then joined former HIM singer Ville Valo[11] on the Neon Noir Tour which featured shows in Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
Since 2024 Callaly has been a Show Accountant for Ireland's largest events promoter MCD Productions[12]
