Artengo is a French brand specializing in products for racket sports, particularly tennis. It was established in 2006 by Decathlon .[1]

History

edit

Originally, racket sports were represented under Decathlon's Inesis brand, which was created in 2000 for racket sports and expanded in 2002 to include golf equipment. Inesis initially served as a dual-purpose brand. However, Decathlon redefined its portfolio, leading to the creation of Artengo in 2006 as a dedicated brand for racket sports.

In May 2017, squash player Camille Serme partnered with Artengo to launch racket series. [2]

On January 3, 2022, French tennis player Gaël Monfils signed a five-year deal with Artengo, making the brand his official equipment provider for shoes, rackets, and apparel.[3][4]

Sports

edit

Artengo provides products for six major racket sports: tennis, badminton, table tennis, squash, padel, and beach tennis. Additionally, it covers also regional sports such as frontenis in Spain and frescobol in Brazil.
