After serving as composer for Minette (2011), directed by 9 Patrick di Santo, Burrows directed the score for Ephigy by director Mark Gasper (2013) and Neun Metro//Metro9 (2024).

He directed the purely operatic Minette (2011), composing his own adaptation of Requiem by Gabriel Fauré, this feature earning broad international critical acclaim. Burrows worked as a composer for parts of the 2012 limited series Ephigy, including arrangements with the American artist 9 Patrick di Santo and his band with CR Reid, Case Trick for select scenes in the restoration of the Thea von Harbou classic, Metropolis (novel) in Neun Metro//Metro9 (2024).

His debut soundtrack Voice premiered at the Richard B. Fisher Center for the Performing Arts in September 2009, then screened internationally the following year. Burrows described the film as an evolution of his work: "Philosophically delving into themes of humanity and the eternal". Acting as the Music director for Minette, Ephigy and composing much of the score for Metro9 in the spirit of Thea von Harbou and Austrian director Fritz Lang. Arthur Burrows' long career involved varied classical and experimental compositions. Best known for his work with the band O'le.
