Asthon Hall (born Otcober 24, 1995)[1][2] is an American fitness influencer, entrepreneur and content creator.[3] He is known for creating and publishing fitness content on social media, particularly YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and X.[4][3][5] With over 3 million subscribers on YouTube and 5,6 million followers on TikTok, he got recognised because of his morning routines and athleticism content.[6]

Background

edit

Hall established his first occupation in football where he participated as a running back at First Coast High School in Jacksonville, Florida, and later attended Alcorn State University. Later, he transitioned into becoming a fitness trainer and consequently a social media influencer.[7][8]

His first known appearance on social media was in the COVID-19 pandemic when he began disseminating fitness content. Consequently, he worked as a fitness trainer in LA. He then went to creating content on social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, where he continued publishing his workout routines and morning regimens.[9][7]

His morning routine video, which includes practices like mouth taping, push-ups, and a face ice bath, was posted on Instagram in February 2025 and quickly gained over 157 million views and six million likes.[3] His morning routine has been parodied by numerous personalities on social media platforms like Mrbeast.[10][11][12]

Criticism

edit

Hall's morning routine faced criticism on social media. Some users argued that it is "impractical and unrealistic", proposing that it is more of a performance than a actual lifestyle.

In addition, some critics claim that the routine centers on aesthetics and gaining views rather than promoting self-improvement.[13][14][15][16]

Occupation

edit

Hall currently works as a fitness influencer and online fitness coach.[17]
