Blue Meteor, Inc. (Bluemeteor)[1][2] is a technology company specializing in data management software, designed to help organizations efficiently acquire, manage, transform, deliver, and exchange product information. Founded in 2021 by Sanjay Agarwal [3] , Bluemeteor is headquartered in the Greater Chicago Area, Illinois, United States, with additional offices in the United Kingdom and India. History
editBluemeteor’s software solutions originated in 2017 within Codifyd, a company specializing in end-to-end digital transformation services for B2B and B2B2C distributors and manufacturers. After the sale of Codifyd to Pivotree Inc. in 2021, founder Sanjay Agarwal established Bluemeteor as an independent entity.[5] [6]The Bluemeteor logo incorporates the Golden Ratio, a design principle associated with balance and proportion. The spiral blue meteor symbolizes structure, clarity, and continuous transformation, aligning with the company’s focus on organizing and streamlining complex product data.
In September 2022, Bluemeteor appointed PIM and MDM industry veteran Kerry Young as President and Chief Operating Officer.[7][8]
In 2024, it has been named an “IDC Innovator” in the IDC Innovators: Product Experience Solutions for Manufacturing, 2024 (doc #EUR152018624, April 2024) report.[9]
In 2025, it has been named a Representative Vendor in the 2025 Gartner Market Guide for Product Information Management Solutions.
