Briggon Snow is an American actor, writer, and producer best known for his work in audio fiction and narrative storytelling. He gained prominence portraying Caleb Michaels in the podcast series The Bright Sessions and its spin-off The College Tapes, and co-wrote and produced the Apple TV+ docudrama Easy Money: The Charles Ponzi Story.[1][2] Snow has narrated numerous audiobooks, notably contributing to the AudioFile Earphones–award–winning ensemble performance in Jandy Nelson’s When the World Tips Over.[3] He has also appeared in television series such as Seal Team and Game Shakers.[4]

Early life

Snow was born in Maine, graduating from South Portland High School.[5] He attended the University at Buffalo, where he performed with the a cappella group the Buffalo Chips.[6] After college, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue creative work, initially working on a food truck for Cousins Maine Lobster.[7] In Los Angeles, Snow trained at BGB Studio, where he met future collaborators from The Bright Sessions.[8] In later interviews, Snow described audio storytelling as a medium where he found his creative voice and a sense of community.[9]

Snow is openly gay and has discussed the importance of queer representation and community in interviews.[10][11]

Snow began his audio drama career portraying Caleb Michaels in the acclaimed podcast The Bright Sessions, a science-fiction series blending therapy and superpowers.[12] He reprised the role and contributed as a writer on the spin-off The College Tapes.[13] He also voiced Eric Miller and served as executive producer on the musical podcast In Strange Woods, which earned a nomination for Best Fiction Podcast at the 2022 iHeartRadio Podcast Awards.[14]

He went on to write and star in the two-character romantic sci-fi podcast Look Up[15], and appeared in Wondery’s boarding-school thriller Academy.

For Audible Originals, Snow appeared in Hit Singles, a modern romantic comedy about a DJ entering a lively friend group—where he portrayed the character Matt.[16][17] He also took over the role of Daniel in Audible’s audio reimagining of Witness, originally played onscreen by Alexander Godunov.[18][19]

Producing and writing

In addition to acting, Snow has worked extensively as a producer and writer in narrative audio and hybrid projects. He co-wrote and produced the Apple TV+ docudrama Easy Money: The Charles Ponzi Story, which explores the rise and fall of conman Charles Ponzi through a scripted, documentary-style format and features comedian Sebastian Maniscalco.[20]

Snow is also a co-founder and creative producer at Atypical Artists, a podcast production studio focused on scripted narrative storytelling, launched alongside creator Lauren Shippen.[21] Under this banner, he has contributed to the development and production of multiple projects, including the acclaimed podcast The Bright Sessions and its spin-offs The AM Archives and The College Tapes, as well as the musical audio drama In Strange Woods.[22]

Audiobook narration

Snow has narrated numerous audiobooks spanning young adult and contemporary fiction. His work includes Jandy Nelson’s When the World Tips Over, which received an Earphones Award from AudioFile Magazine for excellence in narration.[23]

He also narrated Phil Stamper’s duology Golden Boys and Afterglow,[24][25] as well as Stag Dance by Torrey Peters.[26]
