Dream Building Fund
editThe Dream Building Fund (DBF) is a biennial call for funding that offers financial resources and knowledge to the legally established non-profit organisations and local implementing partners for projects that use table tennis to combat social issues that correspond with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Since 2019, the ITTF Foundation has provided grants, ranging from 10,000 to 35,000 EUR, to five to six projects over a designated 2-to-3-year period. In addition to the financial support provided, successful applicants are also given strategic guidance, capacity building support, and increased visibility of project activities and results through amplification across ITTF Foundation digital media channels. [1]
Background
editApplicant Evaluation and Approach
Eligible implementation partners must be legally established and locally recognised not-for-profit, table tennis, sport, or social impact entities, with a dedicated project that aims to advance social change through table tennis.
The Dream Building Fund projects are selected under the context that each stakeholder contributes equally to the effectiveness of the project.
A Theory of Change (ToC) - a framework used for project design, implementation and evaluation to enable social impact – is built with successful applicants to establish a pathway forward for all involved stakeholders.
