FAIRER Consulting is a global consultancy firm offering training and services in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). As a part of Hays Plc, the inclusion management firm works with organisations to promote inclusive workplaces, develop leadership and diversify talent pools.

The firm’s name, FAIRER, stands for Fairness, Accessibility, Inclusivity, Respect for all, Equity, and Representation.

Founding and history

FAIRER Consulting, originally known as VERCIDA Consulting, was rebranded after being acquired by Hays Plc in February 2024. The firm was founded by DEI Consultant Dan Robertson.

Training and services

FAIRER Consulting provides DEI training and consultancy programmes, founded on social psychology, behavioural science and neuroscience. The firm bases its methodologies on a bespoke A-A-A (Awareness, Application, Action) learning model, which follows three steps:

  • Awareness: What is the problem or challenge?
  • Application: What is the real-world context?
  • Action: What are the key takeaways and next steps?

The company offers DEI training in areas including inclusive leadership, unconscious bias, allyship and inclusion. Additionally, FAIRER Consulting provides DEI audits, assessments, and consulting services.

Managing Director - Dan Robertson

Dan has over 15 years of experience in the DEI field and was named as a top D&I leader by Hive Learning.[1] Dan authored The Long Road to Inclusivity in Beyond 2015: Shaping the Future of Equality, Human Rights and Social Justice, published by the Baring Foundation in 2015.[2]

Barry is a DEI specialist and received the Public Sector Champion Award at the 2018 Inclusive Companies Awards.[3] He was also featured in the Top 100 Global Inspirational Diversity & Inclusion Leaders list.[4]
