His breakout came with ABC's Revenge, where his score contributed significantly to the show's emotional tone. He later composed music for Fox’s Empire and Lifetime's UnReal, both of which received critical acclaim.

In film, Eisler has composed scores for projects including the action film Proud Mary (2018), the romantic comedy How to Be Single (2016), and the buddy-cop comedy CHiPs (2017). He has also scored several documentaries, such as Newtown (2016), The Human Trial (2022), and A Small Light (2023), the latter earning him an Emmy nomination.

Eisler is a frequent collaborator with major studios and streaming platforms including Netflix, Warner Bros., and Amazon Studios. His music often incorporates live performance elements and custom-built instruments, blending analog and digital textures.
