Mixed martial arts career

edit

Early career

edit

Tokkos began his professional MMA career competing in various regional promotions across the United Kingdom . His first few fights were for promotions UCMMA and The Big Fight UK, gaining a record of 4-0 to start his career. He would later obtain the Premier FC and Fury FC Light Heavyweight championships.

Bellator

edit

Tokkos participated in a 2-fight stint with Bellator MMA, first at Bellator London in November 2019 and later at Bellator 246 in September, 2020. He lost both to Kevin Fryer and Ty Gwerder, respectively.

Road to UFC

edit

Tokkos participated in a featured bout on the first Road to UFC episode in June 2022. Unlike other fighters on the card participating in a tournament to enter the UFC, the winner of his fight with Mingyang Zhang would only have to win once. After a back-and-forth brawl, Zhang knocked Tokkos out 3:57 into the first round.

Ultimate Fighting Championship

edit

Tokkos stepped in on short notice to fight undefeated Light Heavyweight fighter Oumar Sy at UFC Fight Night: Barboza vs. Murphy. He lost the fight by Submission due to a Rear Naked Choke in the first round.

Medić next faced Navajo Stirling at UFC on ESPN: Covington vs. Buckley in Stirling's promotional debut. The undefeated Stirling won a Unanimous Decision victory, utilizing his reach to keep Tokkos at bay.

Medić fought Junior Tafa on July 12, 2025, at UFC Fight Night: Lewis vs. Teixeira. He won the fight via submission due to an Arm Triangle Choke at 4:52 of round 2.
