Huncwot is a Polish digital studio focusing on culture, education, and climate change issues. The company was founded in 2006 by Łukasz Knasiecki and Arkadiusz Romański in Poznań, and since 2009 is based in Warsaw, Poland.
History and recognition
editHuncwot was one of the pioneers of Flash movement, creating between 2006 and 2010 multimedia websites for cultural institutions (The National Library of Poland, Nowy Teatr) and fashion brands (Reserved[1], Salsa Jeans). Studio has been the recipient of Webby Awards, Cannes Golden Lion, The FWA[2] and multiple Awwwards.
Work for culture and education
editThe studio is known mainly for its works for culture and education[3], including The National Library of Poland, Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, Muzeum Lazienki Krolewskie and Harvard Film Archives. Other notable work was commissioned by Columbia Center for Oral History Research for Obama Presidency Oral History[4] or The Elders Project[5] (Webby Awards winner 2025[6]).
