iRacing Studios is an American video game publisher owned by iRacing.com Motorsport Simulations, LLC founded in 2025. Based in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, the company specializes in racing games such as iRacing and NASCAR 25.
History
editiRacing Studios was established by iRacing.com Motorsport Simulations, LLC (iRCMS) following an announcement from the developers of sim racing video game iRacing on July 17, 2025.[1] The company was created as a way to bring all of iRCMS's gaming products and studios under one brand. This included the previous purchases of Monster Games and Orontes Games, as well as their games World of Outlaws: Dirt Racing 24 and ExoCross respectively.[2][3]
In July of 2024 iRCMS signed an exclusive agreement with Original Fire Games, the developers of Circuit Superstars, to develop and publish an untitled arcade racing game.[4] The project is codenamed iRacing Arcade.[5] The project plans to release in 2025 and will be published by iRacing Studios. Later in 2025, the team released a trailer for the game and announced that iRacing Arcade will be the official release name of the game.[6][7]
In 2025, both Monster Games and Orontes Games merged with iRCMS to become the basis of iRacing Studios.[8][9]
The company's first game will be NASCAR 25, which is being developed by the team previously known as Monster Games.[10][11] This follows the acquisition of the NASCAR video game license from Motorsport Games in 2023.[12] The game will be released on October 14, 2025.[13]
On August 26th 2025, iRacing Studios announced a partnership with IndyCar and the IndyCar Series to produce standalone games with the license in 2026.[14] The first game will be developed on the studio's proprietary Orontes Game Engine, which was created by the previously acquired Orontes Games.[15][16]
