Magico LLC is an American manufacturer of high-fidelity loudspeakers, based in Hayward, California. Founded in 2004 by Alon Wolf, the company is recognized for its use of advanced materials and measurement technologies in its speaker designs.
History Magico was founded in 2004 by industrial designer Alon Wolf. The company's first product, the Mini loudspeaker, established its reputation within the high-end audio market.
The year 2024 marked the company's 20th anniversary. Over two decades, Magico has designed and manufactured over 40 different products, growing from a startup to an operation employing approximately 30 people.
Operations Magico operates from a 30,000-square-foot facility in Hayward, California, where all its products are designed, manufactured, and distributed. The company's products are sold in 34 countries.
The factory is equipped with advanced R&D and quality control tools, including a full CNC machine shop, a Klippel Near-Field Scanner, a Klippel QC analysis suite, and a Polytec PSV-500 scanning laser vibrometer. It also features a dedicated listening room designed to serve as a neutral acoustic environment for product evaluation.
Products and Technology Magico loudspeakers are known for their rigid enclosures constructed from aerospace-grade aluminum and carbon fiber, designed to minimize resonant coloration. The company utilizes its in-house measurement systems, like the Klippel Scanner, to design and validate driver components and final speaker performance.
