This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of music-related topics). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia. This submission appears to read more like an advertisement than an entry in an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies.

Neverborne is a British melodic death metal and metalcore band formed in 2007 and is known for blending aggressive riffs with melodic complexity and emotive vocals.
History
editFormation, Musical Style and Influences
editNeverborne was formed in late 2007 in London, England, comprising Warren McManus (vocals), Stuart Manicom (guitar), Jacques Fourie (guitar) and Sharne Manicom (bass) originally from Johannesburg, South Africa, and David Andrews (drums) from London, England. Their sound draws inspiration from both Swedish melodic death metal and American metalcore, creating "adrenaline-soaked metal that combines melody and brutality, harmony and chaos, hope and despair".[1]
Neverborne’s sound features intense riffs, breakdowns, and melodic hooks, balanced with both harsh and gritty vocals, citing influence from bands like In Flames, Dark Tranquillity, Unearth and Killswitch Engage.
Signing and Debut Mini-CD: In Absence of Fear
editIn September 2009, the band signed with Glasstone Records. They entered Surrey’s Thin Ice Studios to record their debut EP, In Absence of Fear, produced by Karl Groom (known for his work with DragonForce and HammerFall) and released in December 2008 independently[2], with a later reissue by Glasstone Records on 23 November 2009.[1]
The Mini-CD includes five tracks: "Without Fear" , "Neverborne", "Cycle of Existence", "Misery Curse", and "Gone, Bye Tomorrow" with a total run-time of approximately 24 minutes, and includes guest backing vocals by Pete Morten of English progressive metal band, Threshold on "Neverborne" and "Gone, Bye Tomorrow", with Sharné Manicom providing backing vocals on the track "Without Fear".[3]
Debut Album: Self Destruct Syndrome
editFollowing the success of In Absence of Fear, work on their full-length debut album began in early 2010 at Thin Ice Studios with Karl Groom, with the band completing pre-production and proceeding to record 13 tracks that summer. Notable guest appearances on the album include Henrik Danhage (Evergrey) delivering the guitar solo on "The Enemy That We Keep" and Antony Hämäläinen (Nightrage) providing guest vocals on the track "Mechanical Ruin".[4]. The album, titled Self Destruct Syndrome, was released on 30 April 2012 via Glasstone Records and mastered at Studio Fredman in Sweden[5]
Self Destruct Syndrome includes eleven tracks with a total run-time of approximately 41 minutes. Two tracks from the recording sessions, "I Am My Own" and "Forever In the Storm" were not included in the final album cut, but were later released through social media.
Critical Acclaim and Notable Live Performances
editNeverborne earned early acclaim for their dynamic combination of melodic sensibilities and technical brutality. The involvement of respected producer Karl Groom helped refine their sound, while collaborations with members from Evergrey and Nightrage elevated their credibility in the metal community.
Critically, their EP and full-length albums were praised for their emotional intensity, polished production, and the seamless integration of melody with aggression[5]
Neverborne has toured extensively in the UK, sharing stages with established international acts such as Ill Niño, Katatonia, and Breed 77[5]
