Parimal Shais is an Indian music producer and DJ based in Bangalore, originally from Kochi, Kerala. He is known for his acts with fellow Indian rapper, Hanumankind.[1][2]
Early Life
editShais was raised in Kerala, where he was exposed to local cultural traditions from an early age. Originally, Shais aspired to become an animator, but later pursued audio engineering in college, during his time in college, he would gain connections with people who were producing music for fun, but weren't professionally trained. Due to this, it would lead Shais to be a part-time DJ, which helped grow his love for audio engineering, additionally, he was also influenced by his father who worked as a live audio engineer. During this time period, Shais would begin to experiment his sound in DJing[3]
Debut Album Release
editIn October 2019, Shais released his debut album Kumarikandam Traps Volume 1, a collaborative compilation featuring over ten South Indian artists rapping in English, Malayalam, and Tamil.[4]
Film Career
editAside from producing, Shais has also appeared in two different movies. He appeared in the the 2024 film, Rifle Club
