RM Bhagwat

R.M. Bhagwat, a resident of Dombivli, was a teacher, author and a veteran academician who served as a senior advisor and consultant to a number of orientation courses for mathematics teachers before joining the Homi Bhabha Center for Science Education (HBCSE),[1] Mumbai. He has contributed science articles to Kishor[2] (a Marathi magazine) and Science Today-2001[3]. He has coauthored several books[4][5]on science[6] and mathematics published by the HBCSE and the Oxford University Press. His most popular and famous book is 'Everyday Mathematics[7]' ISBN 8123714904[8] published by National Book Trust,[9] India. It is also available in translated Malayalam and Hindi.[10]

R.M. Bhagwat,[11] was popularly known as 'Bhagwat Sir' among his students and academic peers, was a distinguished educator[12] and a passionate music enthusiast. His dedication to the subjects and his pedagogical approach served as a source of inspiration to numerous students.[13]
