Transcol System is the trunk-feeder public transport network serving Greater Vitória, Espírito Santo, Brazil. It started operating in 1989 and integrates urban buses across seven municipalities, carrying over 17 million passengers monthly. The system is operated by private companies divided into two consortia, under management of CETURB-ES.
History
editCETURB-GV was founded in 1984. The Transcol system began with Carapina Terminal and standard buses. Since then, it has undergone significant upgrades, including fare integration, new fleets, and technological improvements like GPS, accessibility features, and electronic ticketing.
