History
editThe College was founded in 1984 by the late Thiru R.S. Kothandaraman. The college functions under the aegis of Sri Rangalatchumi Educational Trust and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education.
Location
editThe campus is situated near the village Muthanampatti, about 13 kilometres (8.1 mi) from Dindigul, along the National Highway, NH 83 towards Palani. It is spread over 45 hectares.

editPSNA received the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan - National Award (2007) from the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) for best overall performance.[2] This is jointly awarded to this college and P.S.G. College of Technology Coimbatore.
