Coast defence?

It would be good if the article said in what way a 'coast defence' battleship differed from a battleship of the same era which wasn't called a 'coast defence' battleship. It isn't obvious from the technical specifications.Hertel47 (talk) 11:29, 20 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
