Unix servers, not PCs, killed off mini computers
editthe introduction of the IBM PC in 1981 marked the beginning of the end for minicomputers, and by the end of the decade, the entire market had largely disappeared.
So you are saying that few mini computers were sold in 1989????????????????????
were you there? I was and maybe unix replaced a lot of minis by 1999.
