Grammar/copyediting
edit- Right off the bat, some minor copyedits that can be done per WP:MOS, among other criteria:
- "Super Metroid" should be italicized, as it's the title of a game.
- during times when moderation was less active. The wording seems a little redundant to me. I believe when moderation was less active. sounds a little better...
- at 10:00 pm on PST → at 10:00 pm PST
- This isn't part of typos I noticed, but the "Legacy" section begins with a one-sentence paragraph. Please either merge it into the next paragraph or expand on it.

- I don't know if it's just me, but Mii avatar and Mii character(s) seem kind of redundant, since Mii is a noun and avatar/character(s) are also nouns. Would Mii be better? Also, Wii no Ma should be italicized, too. - OpalYosutebito 『talk』 『articles I want to eat』 01:39, 14 August 2025 (UTC)

I'll try to find more secondary sources as I delve deeper into the article, as that was the main reason why it failed the first GA review. - As I'm looking for new sources, I found out that certain games had special messages that would pop up warning users about the eventual shutdown of Miiverse. This is one for Super Mario Maker:
Accompanying the ending of the Miiverse service, new comments can no longer be added and existing comments can no longer be viewed on uploaded courses. Courses can still be uploaded, played, and evaluated.
- You don't have to copy-paste the whole message, but it would still be interesting to read about the short time before the platform went defunct.

I was able to find wuite a bit of coverage of Miiverse's early development by typing in key words like "Miiverse" and "Hatena".
