Additions to the article
editI would certainly have suggestions, but if I then dare to expand the article, I fail either because of my frugal knowledge of English OR because of a censor who immediately deletes the additions because he (she) considers them to be insignificant, superfluous, uninteresting or simply competition. At least, this is almost always the case with German-language Wikipedia articles. That's why I'll save myself the trouble. Additions would be necessary with regard to additional reflections at the input side of the rotor bank (Russian machine M-130 : This eliminates the need for re-entries, and the voltage signals pass back and forth through the rotor bank several times IN BOTH DIRECTIONS. The number of contacts of the rotors and the reflector (the M-130, like the SIGABA, had no reflector) are then, of course, significantly greater than the character supply used, just as in machines with re-entries running along the outside of the rotor bank. (KL-7)), with regard to the possibilities of realising exclusively involutoric alphabets with one fixpoint each, despite the reflector, and with regard to the possibility of also equipping ROTORS WITH REFLECTIONS, of course with the same number on both rotor sides. But I'll leave that to others. It is extremely frustrating when contributions are deleted again and you are shown that expertise and participation are not really in demand. At least that's unfortunately the case with the German Wikipedia. Permissiveactionlink (talk) 08:08, 17 August 2025 (UTC)
