Sex vs. Gender

Vocabulary used incorrectly. Sex (biological: male, female, intersex) differes from gender (social: man, woman, nonbinary, gender-fluid, agender, etc.)

Issue: Innaccurate sexual education spreads misinformation and prejudice. Incorrect use of sex and gender terminology encourages transphobia and exclusion of other genders.

Solution: Switch gender 'man/men' with sex 'male'. Additionally, switch gender 'woman/women' with sex 'female' in related articles. Observe inclusive neutral pronouns, if any. Alpha Light Bearer (talk) 15:38, 12 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
