There seems to be no pertinent info about the stripped binary any where. I myself were at a loss finding this. There is a wiki page for Strip (Unix), where relevant information can be found. But that is a tool to make a stripped binary, so information about stripped binary shouldn't go there, instead it deserves another page or redirection. Unfortunately there isn't any wiki page that explains what it is, to be redirected to.
