Genuine question about consistency across sherlock holmes pages

Hi all, Long time lurker and guest editor, first time account maker here.

A few questions related to consistency within and between Sherlock Holmes pages.

1. Is there general agreement that ACD's surname is Doyle and not Conan Doyle? I see variations within pages a lot.
2. There's obviously consistency in terms of grammar etc., but is there any attempt to standardise layout across pages? Is that even allowed?

The star is still there, but there is no way to get to the ledge anymore. I have been there 17 years ago and remember it as a pretty scary place (not too happy at heights ;-). But today the path doesn’t let you go there anymore. 213.230.36.136 (talk) 15:22, 24 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
