This template generates an external link to a creator's page at the Biodiversity Heritage Library.

Usage

Copy the author identifier string from its respective URL:

1. biodiversitylibrary.org/creator/12315

2. biodiversitylibrary.org/creator/68775

Identifiers can also be found on a subject's Wikidata item.

1. If no custom name is set, the template defaults to {{PAGENAMEBASE}}

Markup: {{BHL author|12315}}

Result: Works by BHL author at the Biodiversity Heritage Library

2. To set a custom name

Markup: {{BHL author|68775|Emil Bessels}}

Result: Works by Emil Bessels at the Biodiversity Heritage Library
