This template is a shorthand for U+2AFD ⫽ DOUBLE SOLIDUS OPERATOR. If an unnamed parameter is given, it encloses the input with the double slash on both sides. The shortcut {{//Template://}} exists, but you have to type {{Template://}} in most namespaces other than the main.
