This template displays the number of Good article nominations on Wikipedia and of articles in its subcategories.
The template has the following options:
{{GAN counter|Nom}}—the number of Good article nominations;{{GAN counter|onReview}}—the total number of nominees on review, which includes those on hold and those seeking a second opinion;{{GAN counter|2opinion}}—the number of nominees seeking a second opinion;{{GAN counter|onHold}}—the number of nominees currently on Hold;{{GAN counter|Wait}}—the number of nominees awaiting review (GAN − onReview)
Note that since nominations that are in the category "Good article nominees currently on hold" are also in "Good article nominees on review", and "Good article nominees seeking second opinion" are also in "Good article nominees on review", the onReview option will return the nominees for all three GAN statuses: "onreview", "onhold", and "2ndopinion". If, for whatever reason, you wish only those that have the "onreview" status, you will need to calculate it by "onReview − onHold − 2opinion".
