This template should not be substituted nor used to tag soft redirects.

This redirect category (rcat) template automatically populates Category:Redirects from UN/LOCODE and Category:Unprintworthy redirects by default. In 2003, efforts were begun to support the Wikimedia Foundation's goal of increasing access and availability of Wikipedia articles in printed versions. Mainspace redirects that are UN/LOCODE geographic codes are not suitable for a printed version. In other words such redirects are unprintworthy.

Please do not alter the printworthy settings of this rcat without first notifying the Version 1.0 Editorial Team, who are responsible for any and all materials, including redirects, that go into a printed version of Wikipedia.

This rcat may be used on pages in other namespaces, but only if used for tracking purposes or other special maintenance needs.

Use this rcat to tag any mainspace redirect from a title that is a United Nations Code for Trade and Transport Locations (UN/LOCODE) geographic code for its target article. See the category for examples.
Whenever possible, these redirects will automatically be sorted in the category by the codes without the "UN/LOCODE:" prefix.
