This template is an alternative userbox primarily intended to show status as a student at a college or university, but in reality, it could be used to indicate any affiliation. The template:
- displays the name of the institution
- displays the status at the institution
- adds user page to the appropriate "Wikipedians by alma mater" category
The code parameters for this template are:
- 1: (required) Institution name
- 2: (optional) status (e.g. first-year, sophomore, junior, senior)
- 3: (optional) custom 40px institution image (Include only "Name.png," no file or size information)
- 4: (optional) custom background color (include #color or color name)
- 5: (optional) custom text color (include #color or color name)
The template defaults to saying "student" and displays Information.svg at 40px.
