fullurl

edit

Are there any differences to fullurl apart from the obvious ones? -- Tomdo08 (talk) 16:27, 26 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

fullurl always returns a fullurl, localurl returns a server relative url most of the time but there are some situations it returns a full url, like interwiki links:
Thus currently for {{Querylink|meta:}} because of the way Querylink puts together localurl: and SERVER it currently uses //en.wikipedia.orghttps://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/.
fullurl and localurl also support including query data as a second argument to them, and they understand when a url already has a ? in it. Dantman (talk) 08:11, 30 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Template-protected edit request on 3 February 2021

Copy the sandbox version into the live version, which makes the link red if the page does not exist. JsfasdF252 (talk) 22:49, 3 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Done @JsfasdF252: Good idea, thanks! I modified it to use TemplateStyles. Please keep an eye on Category:Pages with too many expensive parser function calls over the next few days, to make sure nothing blew up. Matt Fitzpatrick (talk) 01:38, 20 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
Undone: This request has been undone. @JsfasdF252: On second look, #ifexist adds pages to Wanted Pages. That undermines one of the purposes of this template, keeping talk pages etc. out of Wanted Pages. I still like the idea of making the link red if it's supposed to be red, though. Is there possibly an alternate solution? Matt Fitzpatrick (talk) 01:56, 20 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

#blocked

edit

I am using the template on a local instance. The links are not generated correctly. Also applies to the example provided in the page. The links always point to about:blank#blocked — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.138.196.248 (talk) 12:07, 4 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
