It is located in Chengxiang town, Qingbaijiang District, Chengdu, Sichuan Province. The station hosts the Chengdu International Railway Port, which is the starting point of the Chengdu end of the Rong'ou (Chengdu-Europe) Express Railway.^[1][2]

History

• 3 July 2008 the Chengdu Railway Container Center Station officially started construction.
• 10 October 2009 the Chengxiang railway station renovation and expansion project was launched.

As of 2017, the Chengdu-Europe lines have sent over 1,000 trains, divided into the northern line (Chengdu to Moscow), the middle line (Chengdu to Łódź), and the southern line (Chengdu to Istanbul) ^[5]

Operations

城厢站目前主要办理除散堆装以外的整车货物和集装箱货物，是成都枢纽主要货运办理站。At present, Chengxiang station is the main freight station of the Chengdu hub, and it mainly handles whole carloads and containers, not bulk material stacks.
