Burton Taylor De Koning born on August 25th, 1992 in Sacramento, CA is a American professional football and baseball player. A graduate of Folsom High School in Folsom, CA (95630), he signed his National Letter of intent to play collegiate football for The University of Nevada (reno)-- Wolfpack. After 2 season under Hall of Fame coach Chris Ault, and 1 season under head coach Brian Polian, De Koning transferred to Cal Poly (San Luis Obispo) -- Mustangs. He graduated with a BA in communication and focus in Kinesiology. As an un-drafted free Agent in 2016, he signed a professional football contract with the Ottawa Redblacks of the Canadian Football League (CFL); who eventually went on to win the 2016 grey Cup. In 2017 he signed a professional contract with the historically rich Berlin Adler of the German Football League. De Koning signed his first professional baseball contract in 2018 for the Napa Silverados (inaugural season) of the Pacific Association of Professional Baseball. [1]
