Christopher John Shepherd (born 9 December 1963) is a Canadian artist and photographer living in Toronto and represented by Bau-Xi Photography. He exhibited publicly for the first time in 2008 and since that time has mounted four solo shows of large format photographic work and executed two performances pieces that could be considered durational sculptures.
Shepherd is interested in changing our relationship with the utilitarian by manipulating the context we see it in and by protracting our interaction with it.
