Sunoikisis Digital Classics (or SunoikisisDC) is a distributed, online teaching programme hosted by the Departments of Informatics and Ancient History, Leipzig University and the Institute of Classical Studies, University of London, with an international cohort of academic contributors, mostly in Europe and North America. [1] [2] The programme offers teaching materials such as lectures, tool demos, practical tutorials and exercises, in the areas of digital classics, digital humanities, computational linguistics and cultural heritage.

History

SunoikisisDC was founded in 2015, inspired in part by the Sunoikisis programme of the Associated Colleges of the South and the Center for Hellenic Studies. [3] [4]


Content

SunoikisisDC sessions introduce topics as diverse as photogrammetry, linked open data, prosopography, GIS to treebanking, EpiDoc and papyrology. [5] [6] [7]
