Ginbug
A Ginbug was the name given to ladies and men from the 1920's prohibition era jazz and swing scene. A ginbug was not a flapper girl or overt jazz lover, but a well respected member of society who would sneak out t night to secret clubs and bars to enjoy the jazz and gin scene.
This was not acceptable to the older generation at the time who frowned upon the scene in general
