Background
editJosh speaks internationally on democracy reform and issues of money in politics, appearing at Business of Fashion's 2018 VOICES conference,[1] at The National Institute of Social Sciences' 28th annual luncheon,[2] next to Michael Douglas in a video about corruption in politics,[3] and alongside Jennifer Lawrence at the 2018 Concordia Summit.[4]
Lynn argues that what he sees as partisanship, extremism, political gridlock, and the disconnect between public opinion and passage of legislature in the American government are the direct results of a failed electoral system. He believes fixing that system will take a non-partisan, grassroots effort that effectively bypasses the approval of elected officials who rose to power through the very same "failed system".
