I have never undertaken paid editing of Wikipedia. However, I have the following potential conflicts of interest:

1. I have been employed by or volunteered for organisations that are covered in Wikipedia articles. These include the Kennet and Avon Canal Trust (edits), with which close relatives also hold or have held directorial or board-level roles,^[a] the University of Central England (edits), and various schools in Berkshire. I declare that:
1. I have never received payment for editing Wikipedia on behalf of these organisations
2. I have never been asked by these organisations to edit Wikipedia on their behalf
3. I have never been obliged, as part of my involvement or contractual agreements with these organisations, to edit Wikipedia
4. I have never offered to edit Wikipedia on behalf of these organisations
2. In 2021 I was interviewed by Crowd Network for a podcast about Wikipedia editors; this was unpaid and my involvement was not to represent Wikipedia or the Wikimedia Foundation
3. Between 2020 and 2022 I owned shares in West Berkshire Brewery. I started the article in 2008, well before my involvement (edits).
