Reason: It is 100% taken from Tornadoes of 2014 and has no content. I have no control over what to do with an article with other users' contributions, but at the moment at least, this article is of no use to the encyclopedia at all. I have made a not-so-great attempt at Draft:Tornadoes of 2015 to create something with some details, although I have deemed that it too is "definitely" not worthy of publication. There are undoubtedly going to be many people who oppose my suggestion just because you can "wait", but why leave an article that won't even help readers if they happen to stumble upon it? This isn't a tropical cyclone season article, so there are not seasonal forecasts, which is perhaps the only justification for having an article before at least the first few to several tornadoes form (the number of tornadoes necessary may vary). I am not saying this article should not exist at some point, but it certainly is not worthy of publication at the moment in my truthful opinion. The page may be recreated at some point, and links to this page may be retained, but at least until the subject actually exists, this article contains the kind of information that could just be stuck on the Tornado article.
Comment: In hindsight, I regret this AfD nomination. I took note of the existence of the article days before the start of 2015 and failed to take action until 2015 had already started. There were other problems with this AfD as well, and altogether, multiple factors set this nomination up for failure. 21:42, 24 September 2015 (UTC)
Reason: With the exception of El Niño, there is little to go off, although the ongoing El Niño may soon warrant an article separately. Winter has not started in North America just because a single storm has occurred in Alaska. It was hard enough for me to convince other editors to adopt the idea of winter season articles, and I decided to wait until activity had already started to before creating article for 2014-15 so as to avoid starting out with a stub with bad and inconsistent formatting. There won't be official forecasts for a good month, and winter itself won't begin for several weeks after that in most areas. This article is unneeded, and it will amount to little more than speculation. The previous season's article wasn't created until December 21 and we survived without it, so I believe an article full of little more than speculation for multiple months is not of benefit to the encyclopedia. I am not making the claim that the topic is not notable. I am saying it is clearly too early. Having an article two to two-and-a-half months in advance of anything of significance is WP:Too soon. If you think the El Niño is significant, maybe create an article for that, but at the current time, this subject is not of significance.
