Here are two demos intended to show the feasbility of horizontal bar charts on narrow-width devices like mobile phones. It works fine on the mobile gadget, or on actual mobile phones. (See the caveat about known bugs in the § Notes.)

Notes
edit- This pageviews demo is a working demo, but is implemented entirely by template, and may exceed PEIS or run into other problems depending when/where it is viewed. If you run into problems, reduce the 'days' param to reenable the demo. (Feel free to edit this page.)
- {{Xviews}} is an experimental, temporary template only intended for use during the Graphs extension outage (more). Xviews has known bugs that were not addressed because of its temporary nature, notably (but not exclusively) these:
- The longest bar wraps; it does the same thing on desktop at certain screen widths; this is not a mobile issue.
- The scale at the bottom is somebody's off-the-shelf template pressed into service so I didn't have to write it. It garbles tick mark captions at mobile screen widths; this is something fixable that is unrelated to horizontal bar charts.
