Khanabad Sanatorium — In accordance with the instruction given by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, during his visit to Andijan region on June 2–3, 2017, and based on the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers dated July 28, 2017, No. 557 “On the Comprehensive Development of Khanabad City in Andijan Region for 2017–2019”, the facility was built by UzAuto Motors Joint Stock Company and was inaugurated on June 11, 2018.

editThe Khonobod sanatorium is designed to accommodate 174 people, with an annual capacity of 6,480 visitors. The total cost of the project amounts to 70 billion UZS. The project aims to provide medical services to the population, promote health and wellness, and foster the development of medical and ecotourism.
Location
editThe Xonobod health resort is located 850 meters above sea level and is designed for the treatment of respiratory diseases, nervous system disorders, and musculoskeletal conditions.
Area
editThe territory of the Khonobod health resort covers 10.5 hectares. All resort buildings are located within a park area, surrounded by lush green trees and flowers. The grounds are filled with greenery such as elms, poplars, oaks, walnut trees, white acacias, maples, chestnuts, spruces, plane trees, juniper bushes, boxwood, and many other trees. The medical facilities offer four types of rooms: standard, semi-luxury, as well as fully equipped apartments, of which there are six. Within the park area, there are residential buildings, an indoor swimming pool, a conference hall, sports grounds, and a parking lot.[1].
Treatment and services
editThe sanatorium mainly serves patients suffering from respiratory diseases, nervous system disorders, musculoskeletal conditions, and gastrointestinal illnesses. Treatment methods include thermal waters (18–44 °C), mineral baths, electrophoresis, paraffin therapy, mechanical and hydromassage, and acupuncture. In addition, services such as dentistry, beauty care, a salt room, phytotherapy, and laboratory examinations are also available[2]
