Douglas Crevier McNair (17 April 1907 – 6 August 1944) was a colonel in the United States Army who served as the chief of staff of the 77th Infantry Division during World War II. He was killed in action by a Japanese sniper during Battle of Guam in 1944.
The son of an Army officer, McNair graduated from the United States Military Academy
