James Leo Dalton (10 January 1945 – 16 May 1945) was a brigadier general in the United States Army who commanded the 161st Infantry Regiment (United States) and served as the assistant division commander of the 25th Infantry Division during World War II. He was killed in action during the Battle of Luzon in May of 1945.
