John Francis Regis Seitz (22 May 1908 – 10 October 1978) was a senior United States Army officer who served during World War II and the Korean War, attaining the rank of major general.

Born in Wilmington, Delaware, Seitz joined the service following his graduation from West Point in 1929. He served as ().

After the Attack on Pearl Harbor, Seitz was detailed to Washington, D.C. to serve on the staff of Army Service Forces as deputy director of the international division. Following an assignment on the staff of the 15th Army Group, Seitz was assigned to the 26th Infantry Regiment as the unit's executive officer. He assumed command of the regiment in November of 1943, as it prepared for the Invasion of Normandy.
