Preston Brown (2 January 1872 – 30 June 1948) was a major general in the United States Army who served as the chief of staff of VI Corps before commanding the 3rd Infantry Division during World War I.
A native of Kentucky, Brown enlisted in the army in 1897, joining Battery A of the 5th Artillery Regiment.
